Christ and the Individual

In this week my final week of my New Testament class we studied the Resurrection.  What wonderful verses they were to read.  I encourage everyone to go read the account of the resurrection in all 4 Gospels.  The aspect I want to focus on is how he appeared to different people in different ways.  He did what he needed to for each individual person.  He appeared to Mary Magdalene and comforted her.  he allowed the Apostle Thomas to feel the wounds in his hands and side.  He appeared to two other apostles on the road and they knew him by the feeling of being in his presence and received confirmation from the Holy Ghost.  For Peter he came to him where he called him in the first place, among his fishing nets.  In each case we see hoe Christ knew each of his followers as individuals.  He knew what each person needed from him after his resurrection.  Just as Christ knew his disciples then, he along with Heavenly Father, know us as individuals now.  They know when we are in need of comfort, of a little push or just in need of their love.  As we move forward in life it is so important to remember that we are each know as individuals, we are each a unique person who is loved for who we were in the past, who we are now and who we have the potential to become.  In each case Christ and Heavenly Father love us and know what we need and are just waiting for us to ask for it.
